Spreading the Good News "into all the world" is a risk - even unto death. Yet, many courageous men and women are willing to take that risk, especially missionaries (like sheep) in a foreign countries. However, that does not mean ignoring common sense, wisdom, or the voice of the Holy Spirit in hostile environments. Yes, the Apostle Paul put himself in many dangerous situations for the Lord. Many times he was beaten, jailed, and almost killed for sharing his faith. Yet, on other occasions he was shrewd as snakes and got out of hostile situations, like the time the disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall in a large basket. Acts 9:25 so he could get away. MISSIONARY SECURITY is training for those times when missionaries need to be as shrewd as snakes: situational awareness, travel security, anti-kidnapping techniques and tactics, and more.
