The Christian Soldier Self-Defense System, Security Operations, Missionary Operations, Wilderness Survival, and Urban Survival training courses that are available here on this website to Christians in an increasingly violent world, could have only come about by God's guiding of Jim Wagner's unique training and experience in the tactical world "for such a time as this."
Most people who join the military, or become a law enforcement officer, remain in one organization their entire career, and that's because it takes a lot of years to gain seniority and rise up through the ranks. Few people are willing to risk giving up that security blanket. Yet, some "Type A" personalities do manage to work for two tactical organizations until they retire, such as going from the military and into law enforcement or going from a local law enfocement department to becoming a federal agent. Serving in three or more tactical organizations in a lifetime is practically unheard of, but Jim Wagner did just that. Not three, but 12 different tactical organizations.
Through opportunities, personal decisions, resignations, and even being forced out of a few organizations by some evil men, God allowed Jim Wagner to be at places that he needed to be at, to obtain the many skills that he needed to have, to be able to teach God's people the full tactical spectrum. This path, that could have never been planned, included be an American Soldier, twice in his life, (combat communications, Military Police, Security Forces, Special Reaction Team, and instructor), a pilot with the U.S. Auxillary Air Force, a corrections officer (to learn the criminal mind by being locked up with them and develop reality-based self-defense from those survival experiences), a municipal police officer (dealing with every type of crime under the sun), a SWAT officer (being crossed trained in every element - Command & Control, Intelligence, Logistics, Crisis Negotiations, Entry, and Scout/Sniper), a county deputy sheriff (search & rescue, patrol supervisor, and dignitary protection), a U.S. federal counterterrorist agent (during the Global War on Terrorism), a private security officer (for a few Fortune 500 companies), a bodyguard (for Hollywood celebrities, retired military generals, and Christian leaders and musicians), an armed church security officer (two decades before most churches saw a need security teams), and an instructor in 20 countries (teaching foreign military units, law enforcement agencies, private security companies, and civilian martial arts instructors because his articles and videos with Black Belt Magazine, Budo Magazine, and other self-defense publications started the "reality-based" movement).
Such a background seems to be impossible for one person to have. But, you don't have to take our word for it. Just Google "Jim Wagner" and you'll find plenty of articles, videos, news reports, and products from around the world confirming Jim Wagner's service and influence on the civilian martial arts. And yes, you'll even find plenty of lies and character assassination from the wicked if you dig deep enough. The bottom line is that Jim Wagner has techniques, tactics, and training methods to share with you could possibly save your life or the life of someone you care about.
