ST. COLMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH ARSON ATTACK
BASED ON OPEN-SOURCE INTELLIGENCE (OSINT) AS OF JUNE 27, 2022 A.D. • COMPILED & ANALYZED BY JIM WAGNER
DATE & TIME: June 26, 2022, at unknown time early Sunday morning.
LOCATION: Beaver, West Virginia. TYPE OF ATTACK: Vehicle ambush.
SUSPECTS: Unkown.
MOTIVE: Unknown. Possibly related to a series of arson attacks on churches due to the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade on June 25, 2022, which no longer allows abortion (the murder of the unborn) as a U.S. Constitutional “right.”
WEAPONS USED: Arson.
DAMAGE: St. Colman Catholic Church completely burned to the ground. SITUATION: The historic St. Colman Catholic Church, which was built in 1878 and declared an official historical site in 1984, was already smoldering when Beaver Volunteer Fire Department firefighters arrived on scene on Sunday morning. The structure burned completely to the ground. The congregation have not been holding services there since it was declared a historic site. RED ACTION: Investigators are currently investigating the incident as arson. No information has been relseased.
BLUE ACTION: Firefighters arrived at the scene after the church had already burned down. Police are requesting anyone with information about the arson to contact Trooper D. Daniels at (304) 256-6700, the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Arson Hotline at 1 (800) 233-3473 or Crime Stoppers of Raleigh County at 304-255-STOP or crimestopperswv.com
JIM WAGNER’S COMMENTARY: On Saturday, June 24, 2022, I sent the following text to the churches that I train (their church security teams):
The U.S. Supreme Court just overturned Roe v. Wade. Expect attacks and arson on churches starting NOW. Yesterday the Supreme Court also said that every, law abiding, citizen has a right to carry a firearm concealed. It is no coincidence that they put that out yesterday, and the abortion issue out today. Not only should churches have beefed up security for the immediate future, but there should be fire watches each night as well. “Lord, put a shield around Your people. In Jesus’ name, amen.” FORWARD! Jim Wagner
Various wicked organizations have not only threatened to attack churches recently, but some have been carrying out those attacks. Yet, many churches are relying only on passive systems (locks on doors and windows, alarm system, camera system, etc.) to try and stop physical attacks, vandalism, and arson. However, true security must include “boots on the ground” (individuals or teams that are trained and equipped to deal with a wide variety of threats). Every church must assume that passive methods can be penetrated, and still have people that can Observe and Report, deal with an armed attack, and be able to see or smell smoke that a camera may not pick up. Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me. Nehemiah 4:17-18
